Preheat Your Press: Rinse the glass carafe with hot water and discard. This warms the glass and maintains your brewing temperature.

Add Your Coffee: Add about 2 tablespoons (10–14 grams) of coarsely ground premium coffee per cup of water.

Pour & Stir: Heat your water to just below boiling (90–96°C). Pour halfway, give the grounds a gentle stir to ensure even saturation, and then fill to the top.

Let It Steep: Place the lid on with the plunger pulled all the way up. Let the coffee steep undisturbed for exactly 4 minutes.

Press Gently: Slowly and steadily press the plunger down to separate the grounds.

Serve Immediately: Pour your freshly brewed coffee into your mug and enjoy. Pro tip: Transfer any leftover coffee to a thermos or carafe immediately to prevent bitter over-extraction.

Froth Silky Milk: Add a touch of café luxury to your kitchen. Pour warm (not boiling) milk into the press and rapidly pump the plunger up and down for 20–30 seconds. The result is thick, silky milk foam perfect for lattes and cappuccinos.

Brew Loose-Leaf Tea: Your French press is also a perfect tea maker. Add your favorite loose-leaf tea, pour in hot water, steep for 3–5 minutes, and press gently for a flawless, sediment-free cup of tea.
